Today, Icelandic Provisions debuted its new Icelandic-inspired branding and creative campaign, which each underscore the brand’s heritage and authenticity.
With creative led by award-winning agency Turner Duckworth, the rebrand is a thoughtful interpretation of the brand’s core values and honors skyr as a longtime staple of the Icelandic diet. The new logo is inspired by the Viking longboat and invokes a sense of strength and resilience that is so representative of the Icelandic spirit. Through its colorful packaging and Nordic-inspired characters, the rebrand will visually differentiate the product from the sea of white in the dairy aisle.
For the new creative campaign, Icelandic Provisions tapped JOAN Creative to take viewers to Iceland. The spot features a whimsical general store that sells “everything you need to live life like an Icelander,” which of course, features Icelandic staple, skyr.
Through these new visual brand representations, Icelandic Provisions is celebrating its heritage in a way that invites the consumer in, offering a glimpse into the why behind the product -- why it's made the way it is, and why its authenticity is so important. I’d love to connect you to CMO Dan Hickle, who spearheaded the project, to hear how Icelandic Provisions is investing in its design narrative to tell the story of its heritage.
