The now-infamous Peloton Christmas ad has already been the holiday's most talked about campaign.
To raise the intrigue level even more, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds shared a clever new advertisement for his gin label Aviation Gin, which features a very familiar face.
Reynolds is arguably feeling very sorry for Monica Ruiz, the actress now known online as the 'Peloton Girl/Wife' who is at the centre of the controversy. Maybe he saw her 'help me' eyes in the Peloton ad and decided to help her make amends by starring in his hilarious Aviation Gin ad instead.
Reynolds recently tweeted the ad with a simple caption: "Exercise bike not included."
In the Aviation Gin ad, Ruiz seemingly reprises her now-iconic (or rather now-ironic?) role as "Peloton Girl," and sits, staring blankly, as two friends try to awkwardly comfort and assure her that she's going to be okay. The ad focuses more on Ruiz than the gin, which she drinks to, presumably, forget about everything that happened and move on. And to that we say, 'Cheers!'
