Princess Yachts, a client of BSUR since 2015, has called upon the agency to help create a design refresh that would stand out in contrast to other yacht brands, according to Jan Rijkenberg, founding partner of the BSUR Group. Billings for the assignment were not disclosed.
Senior Creatives Ben Holder and Bob Haarmans commented, “Brochures sell boats but all too often design takes second place to product photography. Unlike other yacht brands that use boat photography on their covers, we created logotypes for each class letter - the amount of lines represent the amount of boats in the class. We gave each logotype a neon color, which follows through alongside photography inside each book. The neons pop out in contrast to the usual marine blues used by other yacht brands at boat shows and on dealers’ desks.”
Over 45,000 brochures were printed in 8 languages on FSC certified recycled paper and sent to over 119 markets. The latest news from Princess Yachts is that their order books are full until 2020.
