E! has teamed up with L.A. agency Mistress to create a special President's Day promo tackling the biggest cultural hot point of the moment - fake news - with a message from the fake queen of England herself, Elizabeth Hurley, star of E!'s hit original series The Royals, which returns for its salacious fourth season on March 11. In this comic promo, Hurley's character Queen Helena trolls president Donald Trump by rattling off a list of "fake news" stories that are "definitely not true" about his recent visit to Europe.
You can see the “Rumors” spot below:
After a lengthy hiatus following season 3, E! realized they needed to do something king-sized - or better yet - queen-sized to jump back into culture and remind fans why they fell in love with the show the first place. The promotion is the second in as many weeks from Mistress and E!, following a separate Valentine's Day promo for the show featuring Hurley opening outrageous gifts from some of Queen Helena's biggest celebrity admirers, including Taylor Swift and Oprah.
