Apple is continuing its ‘Shot on iPhone X’ campaign with a series of new videos for their Apple Australia YouTube channel. The video ads focus on the iPhone X's camera and its ability to shoot in various lighting conditions. Apple chose to use weddings as their main theme and four “First Dance” moments to bring their camera to light.
The ads are a continuation of Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” series, which aims to highlight the impressive photography and videography capabilities of the iPhone X.
Set to the song “Never Tear Us Apart” by Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barrett, each 'First Dance' video highlights four different weddings, which includes couples of various ages and sexual orientation. The ads come following the legalization of same-sex marriage in Australia last December.
One of the videos is a longer 1-minute advertisement, focusing on several different weddings. The other three are 15-second spots, each of which highlight one wedding. One captures “Meg and Ann-Marie,” another “Nick and Rob,” and the third “Antony and Ron.”
